Reverse Mortgage Training Solutions was created to offer high quality, focused, success-based training to reverse mortgage lenders, reverse mortgage originators and consultants, and to those marketing reverse mortgages via the Advisor Direct Program.

Founded by Dr. Sylvia Williams, Ed.D, CSA and her partner Brian Marine, Reverse Mortgage Training Solutions has developed a revolutionary new reverse mortgage training program in response to the requests and feedback gotten from inudstry lenders, brokers, and loan officers.

The Reverse Mortgage Training BootCamp Webinar Series offers a highly concentrated, yet very cost effective method of reverse mortgage training. Broken down into three main categories ... Product Knowledge, Sales and Marketing ... BootCamp gives reverse mortgage originators the tools and know-how they will need to find more qualified prospects and close morer loans.

Our Team ...

Dr. Sylvia Williams, Ed.D, CSA is Director of Training, and the creator & author of the Reverse Mortgage Training Solutions online training program.

Sylvia is a renowned and highly respected reverse mortgage specialist who brings the unique combination of a background in teaching and education to the table, along with over 4 years of experience in reverse mortgage sales, management and training.

Sylvia was an elementary school teacher and a college professor at Utah State University where she earned her Doctorate in Education. She was also director of National Training Institute in Oakland, CA where she developed curriculum and taught classes in career development.

Sylvia began her career in originating reverse mortgage loans with Liberty Reverse Mortgage, Security One Lending, and Countrywide. She was the Northwest Regional Manager for Liberty Reverse Mortgage and worked with 15 loan advisors in 5 states. She was also instrumental in assisting them to develop their very successful training program, which has helped Liberty and their team to become one of the top reverse mortgage lenders in the industry.

Recently Sylvia has been originating loans through Sequoia Reverse Mortgage in San Rafael, CA, and she has closed over 350 reverse mortgage loans over the past 4 years. She is also a licensed Real Estate agent, has earned her Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation, is a member of NRMLA, and is a frequent contributor to the ActiveRain Real Estate Network blog site.

Dr. Williams says, "I have found that originating and teaching reverse mortgages has been one of the most satisfying and rewarding careers of my life. I believe we all have a purpose in life. My purpose is to teach, which is what I have been doing in one form or another for most of my life. I enjoy coaching loan and real estate professionals in how to do reverse mortgages the right way so that they can best serve their clients. This training course is a culmination of my experience, writings, coaching, and reverse mortgage expertise."

Brian Marine is Director of Marketing and Course Development for Reverse Mortgage Training Solutions.

Brian also brings a unique and varied career of experience that includes web development, online marketing, and financial & mortgage industry sales. For 10 years, Brian was President of VisionWorks, a web development company that specialized in helping small to medium sized businesses achieve their web marketing goals.

Brian also combined his love of music with his web experience to create and operate a number of successful online businesses that concentrated on eCommerce, including Digital Pro Audio.

Brian's area of expertise also extends to web design, graphic design, Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click Marketing.

A recent foray into the reverse mortgage industry opened Brian's eyes to the sadly lacking amount of quality training available, which led him to meet Sylvia Williams who was offering one-on-one customized reverse mortgage training. It was soon after this that Brian and Sylvia decided to put their respective backgrounds and experience together to form Reverse Mortgage Training Solutions.

Due to the excellent response and scucces of the RMTS web site and online course development, Brian has started an adjunct business called Marine Creative which will offer Web Design, Graphic Design, eLearning, Webinar, Podcast and Audio & Video Production Services to clients both in and out of the mortgage and real estate industries.

Our Approach ...

While other reverse mortgage training exists, most current programs are either seminar or book/material based, and unfortunately are generally lacking in the depth and substance to help one sell this complex product. Reverse Mortgage Training Solutions, on the other hand, has developed a fully online training system that allows learners to study at home, and at their own pace.

The module-based approach provides consultants new to this industry/product to learn everything they will need to know in order to start a successful career, while it also offers experienced mortgage originators and loan officers the flexibility to pick and choose the specific aspect of reverse mortgage training they feel they need help with in order to help with their transition to the reverse industry and improve their lead-to-closed sale conversion ratio.

RMTS also offers a ready-made, effective training solution for small and mid-sized reverse mortgage lenders who may be jumping into the very hot reverse mortgage industry, or expanding their presence there.
